Valuation of prospects of oil deposits, geological structures on the basis of studying the abyssal structure of the earth’s crust with the help of methods of deep gravitational sounding (DGS)

Purpose

Methodology allows to reveal non-uniformities of density on various hypsometric level of the earth’s crust,to determine position of collectors, structural-lithological and deformational traps and to predict oil accumulations on deep horizons.

The technique is based on solution inverse gravitational problem without using the known information about studied geological environment. The technique is worked out according to materials of various oil provinces and used on oil-bearing stuctures of Pricaspian syneclise

Advantages of the technique are in high trustworthiness and simplicity of procedures, accomplishing by prognostic map development of studied areas.

Economic efficiency is achieved by prediction of oil and gas accumulations at a depth by analysis of studying existing maps of field of gravity.
