New possibilities of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) in solving
oil producing and geochemical tasks
Purpose of the method
prediction of wells productivity on distribution of ion Mn2+ in core. Method is
based on the fixed fact of heightened Mn2+ content in rocks-oil traps relative to its
background values in other rocks. Selection of core samples from various depths is needed
for the analysis. The measurements may be conducted in field conditions on small-sized
EPR-spectrometer;
prediction of oil accumulations in well logs by extreme values of Mn2+ content in rock
samples;
determination of hydrodynamic association and efficiency between efficient deposits at
the stages of prospecting and separation of oil deposits by V4 content in oil. On the
grounds of coincidence and difference in its concentration values the presence or absence
of hydrodynamic connection between separate layers and horizons of the deposit by
R.N.Nasirov method is fixed;
control of wells work efficiency giving water on the basis of using EPR-sign.
Forms of collaboration
The Customer gives oil and rock samples for carrying out their analysis in stationary
conditions;
The Executor goes to the Customers unit and fulfils necessary work in the field
conditions;
The Executor sets up analytical group from the Customers workers in the place of
conducting works, trains them, provides with necessary equipment and fulfils the control
of research realization.
