Scintillation detectors of ionizing radiation for nuclear geophysics, higy-energy physics, medecine, biology and other areas of scientific researches and industry

Scintillation detectors of general purpose NaI (TI), Cs (TI), Cs (Na) crystals are used for registration and spectrometry of gamma-radiation in the nuclear-physical equipment working in the ordinary laboratory conditions. The cylinder-shaped crystals in detectors of general purpose are from 10 up to 200 mm in diameter and from 10 up to 200 mm in height. The typical values of the energy sanction of standard detectors when irradiating of the isotope 137CS are 6,5-10 % for NaI (TI), and 7-11 % for CSI (TI), Cs (Na) (depending on sizes and qualification of the detector).

Scin-blocks form the pair: scintillator – photoelectronic multiplier),put into common hermetic metal frame. The typical sizes of crystals in scin-blocks (diameter õ height, mm) are the following: 25õ25, 40õ40, 50õ50, 63õ63, 76õ76, 150õ100, 50õ150, 50õ250. Scin-blocks having other parameters are made at the request of the Customer. The energy sanction of scin-blocks is from 7% up to 12% depending on the size of a crystal and parameters of the used photo-electronic electronic multiplier.

Detectors and scin-blocks for the geophysical equipment are dedicated to hard operation conditions, when thermal, shock and vibration loads acting.

Such detectors are used, in particular, at radioactive logging of oil and ore wells.

Typical characteristics of detectors are the following:

Detectors are intended for work in an accounting or spectrometer mode.

The detectors and scin-blocks for a drilling measuring equipment, satisfying to the specific requirements the Customer on the size, thermal and mechanical durability, are made.

Other types of detectors made by the of the consumers, order are the following:

Advantages of the setup (in comparison with traditional system) are the following:
