Advantages of radiometric separation:

The radiometric separation is tested in trial conditions. Oxide and carbonaceous commodity concentrates with the content of Mn of 54 % and 31 % accordingly were produces from the manganese ores of Nikopol deposit. When integrating testing of the ores from Ray-Izsky massif having Cr2O3 content of 30 %, the lump concentrate of metallurgical grade having Cr2O3 of 48 %3 was extracted. For the first time in industrial conditions, the commodity high-grade feldspar concentrates, having the potassium module 4-6, were produced from ordinary ores and lump wastes of the Kuru-Vaara deposit.

The following methods of separation can be realized: X-ray-radiomentric, photometric, photo-absorption, autoradiometric, neutron-absorption,X-ray-luminescence, and radioresonance.
