Definition of gold. The equipment and technique.

The technique is based on the X-ray-spectral analysis with chemical preparation of samples, that guarantees the representativity of test samples(down to 50 g in mass) with low gold content(n10^-3 - 10^-2 g/t).

The setup includes the semi-conductor spectrometer, the X-ray excitation block with a low-power X-ray source, and the personal computer with both the built - in spectrum analyzer and software.

Simultaneous definition of a range of chemical elements in powder tests is possible. At the preliminary stage, the express and high-efficiency methods of acid opening of samples and gold extraction through petroleum sulfides applied.

Productivity of the analysis, when defining the least contents of gold (about 10^-3 g/t), the requires the maximal exposition, is not less than 50 tests per 6 hours (more 8 samples per hor). As long as gold content is about n10^-2 g/t and more, the productivity of setup increases from 2 to 3 times. The productivity increases also when simultaneous defining of a range of chemical elements.
