Purpose of the project
Obtaining commodity concentrates and products (gold, silver. copper
etc.) by use of essentially new ecologically safe technologies of enrichment and
processing of lying and current tailings at working polymetal integrated works.
The description of the project
VIMS and ÒÎÎ "Ekomet" have developed and approved in
integrated - laboratory scale on representative sample (weight 500 kg) of lying of
tailings of one of the polymetal integrated works of Russian Federation, rational
low-waste technology of their enrichment and processings.
The new technology includes:
- gravitational enrichment (combination of processes jigging, screw and centrifugal
separation, concentration on tables of slags enrichment ),
- flotation (collective - selective and selective with use of the effective collectors and
established combination of low-toxic reagents-modifiers).
Advantages:
- Low-waste (utilization is~up to 90% of waste),
- Ecological safety (low-toxic reagents and "pure" processes),
- High technological parameters (extraction from wastes into commodity concentrates of
gold and silver 70-90 %, non-ferrous metals 60-80 %).
The technology is protected by two patents of Russian Federation.
The civil-engineering design of the enterprise for extraction valuable
components and recycling lying gold-bearing of tails of one of polymetal integrated works
of Russian Federation is offered.
Productivity of the enterprise (by raw material) from 1.5 mln. tons a
year up to 4.0 mln. tone a year.
On first-order realization of the project volume of investments - 12
mln. US dollars within 2.0-2.5 years.
Period of pay-back of the first-order investments 1.5-2.0 years.
At the projected enterprise it is supposed to receive annually:
- Gold concentrate containing 30-80 g/t of gold - 25 000 tons,
- Copper-gold concentrate of Km - 7 mark containing 7-10 g/t of gold and 12-15 % copper, -
48 000 tons,
- Pyritic a concentrate containing 1-2 g/t of gold, 0,12 % of copper, 0,08 % of zinc and
50 % of sulfur - 1 200 000 tons,
- Zinc concentrate of ÊÖ-4 mark, containing 45-50 % of zinc - 60 000 tons,
- Final tailings containing 75 % of silica, 0,1 g/t of gold, 0,08 % of copper and 0,09 %
of zinc –3 000 000 tons.
The estimated cost of annually obtained production for the prices 30 %
below world(global) ones is- 57.1 mln. US dollars, including:
- Gold - 25 mln. $,
- Silver - 6 mln. $,
- Refined copper - 12.6 mln. $,
- Cathodic copper - 2.1 mln. $,
- Zinc pig - 6.0 mln. $,
- Pyritic concentrate - 2.4 mln. $,
- Jinal tailings - 3.0 mln. $.
Period of the enterprise operation - 50 years.
The realization of the project will be carried out in three stages:
- Trial and commercial tests on representative sample of weight 1.5-2.0 tons and drawing
up technological rules.
- Designing factory on reextraction of noble and non-ferrous metals from lying tailings in
commodity concentrates.
- Organization, start-up and adjustment of manufacture of commodity production of the
first-order (1.5 mln. tons a year).
The forms of investoris participation in the project.
- Credit in volume 12 mln. US dollars for first-order realization of manufacture. Credit
payments period 2.0-3.0 years. Registration of the credit for 5-7 years under credit per
cent.
- Creation of joint venture with investor share in the authorized capital from 30%.
- The investor (creditor) the will participate in selling obtained production, will have
access to cheap raw materials will, use common infrastructure, will organize commercial
activity in region on favourable terms etc.
